At DUG (Distillers United Group), my aim is to nurture these wonderful brands that not only benefit local communities and the environment but also allow me to share Venezuela’s remarkable treasures with the world. Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, my love for rum began when I started my career at Ron Santa Teresa. I progressed from being a trainee to an international brand manager, working in a fascinating environment surrounded by casks and cocktails. In 2016, I embarked on a new journey and moved to Spain. Starting from scratch, I pursued my other true passion: fashion. After years in a fast-paced marketing role within this creative industry, I’ve returned to my roots: the world of spirits. Now, I have the privilege of sharing the beautiful stories behind our Amazonian gin, our traditional agave cocui trelease distillate, and, of course, our exquisite rum.
